Critical Hit Awards

Here’s something to get excited about…

The Outlet, the official blog of upstart literary powerhouse Electric Literature, is giving out a terribly prestigious award for the best book reviews published online each month. And I’m the one who does the giving.

Check out my first column here. Then read the winners and see what it takes to earn this awfully coveted, horribly desirable (and, until a few hours ago, totally unheard-of) award.

Any time you come across a good book review, tweet it to me @electriclit using the #criticalhit hashtag. If you tweet me a good one this month, you could win a free copy of the audiobook of Denis Johnson’s Train Dreams, courtesy of Macmillan Audio.

Also, we’ll need a trophy for the big annual winner. What should it be? The logo for The Outlet is an electric socket… so maybe a golden power strip?
