New music! Sometimes old music. Music that we love!

This week we’ve got a killer synth-pop tune from the band SPEAK, out of Austin Texas. It’s got a really nice mix of styles, and I love the melody line, which jumps all over the place, pulling the chord changes out as it wanders. The style is practically dubstep, but without the WUBWUBWUB. They make a really cool choice to break the song into half-time occasionally, which paces it in a brand new way without losing any of the drive (check out a great example of this around 3:08).
